I just hope we can squeak through playing as few games at Minute Maid as possible.

That’s the worse thing about winning the division, Astros get the first round bye, but can’t avoid the home field disadvantage in the ALDS.

Kirby looking strong in Seattle. Scoreless there thru 3 and a half.

First base ump gently cuffs Jarvis, tells him to stop licking his hands, gives him a treat.

Astros down in order.

Mariners have loaded the bases. One out. That’s it for Dunning.

Go Mariners!

Javier strands the leadoff double. On to the 4th.

1-0 Mariners, high tag.

Mariners take the lead on a groundout.

One pitch later the bases are loaded again.

Rojas grounds out to end the threat.

Shut ‘em out, Kirby!

I can’t remember the last time, if any, there were three possible destinations - beside going home - during the playoffs.

Astros down in order.

Seattle with a nifty 4-6-3 to get out of the fifth.

I’ll just repeat like I do every year that MLB scheduling every game at the same time on the last day of the season was a stroke of genius.

I have mixed feelings about it, but apparently I’m the only one.

I’m literally (sic) watching both games thru my fingers. Yikes, this is exciting.

Astros do this too—except it’s the 4th.

Note this East coast fan.
Absolutely love it.
