Boom!
Eat shit, MLB!
Thatās a damn fine weekend of baseball.
Good win!
Thatās a hell of a catch.
Itās the best there is.
The Moniak HBP ruling was ridiculous as he swung at the pitch.
However, Iād like to know why Yainer didnāt hustle harder after that foul pop on Neto with the 1-2 count.
He never saw it.
Straight up blue sky.
Loopholes in replay like this need to be closed. The job of replay is to get calls right. If New York can see the batter swung and it was not a foul ball, that is what the replay center should rule regardless of whether the home plate umpire called it a foul ball on the field.
Amen
Thanks for the explanation.
I do not endorse this definition. If everyone in the lineup completes a time at bat, you have batted around in my world.
A debate as old as baseball. Iām team 10.
Like āstriking out the sideā with a single and a walk in between.
I was enjoying that berating of Bucknor by Miller.
So glad the mics were on and caught it all.
Why Ferguson is on the roster much less in a game is a great mystery to me.
If the 9th batter makes an out, you have not batted around. If the 10th guy steps up to the plate, you have batted around. So as long as the 9th guy gets on base, allowing for a 10th batter in the inning, youāve batted around.
Why is it only the 9th guy that has to get on base? What about the first guy in the inning to make an out? Nopeā¦if everyone gets an at bat, and completes that at bat, thatās āaroundā. Just like āaround the hornāā¦as long as everyone in the infield touches the ball, youāve thrown it āaround the hornā, you donāt have to start back with the first guy. If you travel from Point A around the globe, and arrive back at the same Point A, you have gone āaround the worldā, no need to continue to the next town. Next year, on September 16th, the earth will have gone āaround the sunā. Donāt have to wait to the 17th to make that claim. 360 degrees, one revolutionā¦thatās āaroundā. Iām sticking to it.
The 9th guy could make the second out.
There are lots of ways it could play out. In my scenario there are already 2 outs. But I get your perspective on a complete rotation. My perspective it that it is incumbent on the 9th hitter not making the third out and it appears that you consider the 9th batter is making a plate appearance, therefore theyāve batted around regardless of the 9th batterās outcome.
The 9th hitter has to complete his time at bat. If you do that, and everyone in the lineup completes a time at bat, thatās āaroundā in my world view.
