Another challenge for which NY can’t actually make the correct call.
Josh Miller is having none of it.
It’s unreal incompetence. How you can’t get these call correct on review is impossible to understand.

It’s strictly adhering to their “directive” rules while at the same time ignoring some of the actual baseball rules they’re there to get right. Replay has its merits but it needs SO much refining.

Don’t know if it’ll make the gameday package, but I enjoyed the broadcast leaving the field mic turned up to catch Miller saying “That’s bullshit!” 3 or 4 times.

Pitch sailed up and in, batter started to swing then tried to get out of the way, pitch got him on the knuckles.
Batter immediately hit the deck in pain.
HPU ruled foul ball so no appeal to 3rd was made on the swing, which was clearly a swing.
It’s a catch 22. That’s the best there is.
