He has a great arm. Needs to figure out how to consistently command his stuff. He could learn a lot from Javier’s riding fastball watching the first out of this inning.

He was pounding the zone all night with his fastball. It’s so good, he was able to still blow it by hitters like Trout even when it was in the heart of the plate.
If he can somehow keep this stuff in October… not even the Mets could match our top 3

Paredes is not pulling his fastball down. One bullpen can correct that, but he has to take it into the game. What he can learn from Javier is calm demeanor. He has the arm and had an ERA under 1 at SL.
Yep. When he’s not getting himself in trouble with walks, he’s really tough to hit. His fastball, in particular, just seems to keep rising.
