That’s probably exacerbated it. But I seem to recall he’s always had a weak arm. I could be wrong though.
Your weakest outfield arm is often in left field. After all, if he had a great arm, he’d be in RF. But Jake can go get em in CF, which not all left fielders can do.

I think Jake had an average arm for a CFer taken down a few degrees after the injury.
