I realize now, that makes no sense that he would be in the lineup if that were the case. I’m just jittery or something.

That sucks. I really don’t need to see more of Robel Garcia, I guess Toro or Nova could be options?

Brantley due back Tuesday; Castro is catching a bullpen session today and that will be a determining factor on his return. Both were victims of the turf in Arlington.
Apparently they will play a man short today then activate Uncle Mike for Tuesday
Nova is down here in Asheville and not exactly lighting the world on fire yet.

Yeah, scratch Nova then. I had no idea he wasn’t in Corpus or SL. I’d much rather have Toro than Garcia, is I guess my point. Not sure Garcia has had more than maybe 3 competitive ABs.
I have no clue why you do not like Garcia, but I have read Toro will be the choice.

How is a torn UCL repaired? Is the recovery for a UCL repair more like 9 months?

Internal bracing procedure that cuts recovery time to 9 months that can only be used in the case of partial tears.
Pretty sure this newer procedure was covered in some of the numerous threads we’ve had on the subject over the years. But if you can’t find those old threads, just Google Internal bracing procedure and elbow and Tommy John and plenty of articles on it will pop up.
I hate this for Emanuel most of all. He has put in his time in the Minors to get his chance and was doing well at the ML level. And the club could use more LH arms.
