Aches and Pains 2024

Thought I’d stumbled into the Ukraine thread by mistake. Maybe Tucker volunteered for that?

It’s a pretty complicated injury.

Yep. Everything I read about it, then, now, anytime in between, has been the same. “Could wake up tomorrow and be fine, could take 3 month’s. Everybody is different, every injury is different and there’s no knowing how long it will be until the person actually feels better”

It was nice having Tucker as an Astro and I look forward to observing his time as a quadruple amputee turned broadcaster.

You’re assuming his tongue isn’t also injured.

I’m starting to doubt that he ever existed at all. Just folklore. Like Paul Bunyan.

AI has come along way, it’s probably a deep fake.

Yes, it is. But, that doesn’t change the fact the Astros have tended to be very vague when it comes to describing player injuries over the last seven years. It’s why the word “discomfort” is a running joke on this site.

That’s discomforting.

He’s literally just a head in a jar at this point like Futurama

Verlander’s line tonight: 4ip 4h 0r 1bb 5k, 57 pitches, 41 strikes with velocity in the mid 90’s. Let’s hope he feels good in the morning.

It’s in another thread, but it bears posting here: Bregman out with elbow swelling for at least the White Sox series.

It should clear up in a few days…like Tucker’s bruise.

Missing a week of games due to sleeping on your arm wrong…. Yeah not buying that

Get Carl Monday on the case!

Just as he stopped popping up… yeah, we won’t see him again this season.

Well, in the “nothing goes right all at the same time” department:

Ryan Pressly is going on the IL with a lower back strain.
