I distinctly remember hearing 20+ years ago that the reason UN inspectors didn’t find any WMDs in Iraq was because they were being moved around. I think we know where this is headed.

Andrew Cuomo’s PACs obliterated campaign spending records in the NYC Mayoral primary. The campaigns are limited to $8 million in direct spending, but PACs supporting Cuomo spent around $30 million in addition. The mismatch in the scale of the campaigns was off the charts, yet Mamdani - an unabashed progressive in the mold of AOC - obliterated Cuomo.
Mamdani is poised to be the Mayor of a city that is more populous than 38 states. So what will establishment Democratics take from this?

There are many reasons why they are targeting blue states, but I imagine that one reason is because none of them are “stand your ground” states.
So now Trump is saying a deal is “one week away” but “a nuclear deal isn’t necessarily needed” or some bullshit.

John McCain was born to a U.S. parent on an overseas military base, and he was eligible to be president.
My son was born abroad and the US immediately claimed him as a citizen. They like people paying tax, I guess. White people, anyway.
It doesn’t matter where this guy was born if his father was a US citizen at the time of his birth, naturalized or otherwise. The citizen parent has to meet certain conditions, like s/he has to have lived in the US for five consecutive years at some point, something along those lines. If his mother is/was a US citizen, too, then it’s even less vague. This guy is a citizen of the US, and I’m astounded that no immigration lawyer could or would clear this up pro bono. This is not complicated.
