It appears that the far right has eaten shit in the Romanian elections, where they looked poised for power about a month ago. The turnout surged and this appears to have overwhelmed the right wing extremist vote.

I wish Biden a full and speedy recovery. I find it curious that the cancer has progressed so rapidly. Normally with regular physicals and PSA tests, prostate cancer can be caught and treated early on. It’s typically a 5 to 7 year process without treatment before it becomes metastatic. Not to sound too conspiratorial but it’s highly likely they’ve know about this for a while and chose to keep the public uninformed.
Well, if they knew about it earlier, wouldn’t they have started treatment earlier to prevent its spread.
That’s a good point. Then the question is what were they looking at when he was getting physicals and PSA blood tests? How did the doctors miss the markers? That seem close to malpractice. I mean, it’s just me wondering. He is entitled to his privacy.
My expert diagnosis is that “shit happens to old people”. Nothing curious about it.

If you’re unlucky with prostate cancer, it can go from “enlarged prostate, we’ll manage it” to “it’s advanced too far for surgery to be an option” in a matter of months. That’s what happened with my father. For other folks it really is more like a chronic problem that you manage until something else gets you. And I’m not sure if if there’s a way to predict which way it will go.
I figured even that might make me sound too much like a google health expert.
