Trump is taking questions from reporters in the Oval Office…without President Musk hovering over his shoulder. It’s going so well that Fox News cut away to something else.
His brain has gone fuckety-bye this morning.
So, on tariffs against Canada and Mexico, Trump has essentially shelved them all again for another month.
Here’s the question that he never seems to get asked: if tariffs are universally a boon to the country imposing the tariffs, and hurt only the country getting hit with the tariffs, why are exemptions and delays a good thing for the US?
ETA: On the other hand, why bother asking him?
