I was absolutely certain that Yainer was going to drive that run in. I felt good about JP, too, but that was more hope than conviction.
I’ve been driving so I couldn’t post until now.
Now if we can just have a nice, drama-free 9th, everything will be wonderful.

I need another new patio umbrella. I always forget to close mine before a storm and it ends up broken halfway across my yard.

The one I have now has been awesome. I’m guessing it’s 20 years old, a little faded and dirty, but otherwise solid. No tears or holes. I just went to open it and a bat started fluttering. I like bats, and encourage their living in the yard. But the last thing I want is to go get rabies shots.
Next time I’m gonna buy one of those anchors. And close it when not using it.

Mine is in a pretty heavy steel base. Guess it probably weights 75 lbs.
Bats used to wedge themselves into the tile on the roof of my mango tree house. I knew when they were up there because they’d shit and bat shit is perceptibly different from lizard shit. Until I figured out that there’s this anti-bat goop that you can smear around wherever bats like to hang out chasing bats out of the house about a half hour after sundown was a regular occurrence.
Ort needs to abort the Royals offense.
