Seems like KC ran all over the Astros in the April series they swept (8 steals), but not as much a factor this series. They seemed the much more athletic and aggresive team back then. I guess the pitching that’s been keeping them off the bases has something to do with it.

You know, I went out to talk with those guys who hung out near the Conoco pump. I told them that their hats while undeniably eye catching were in no way Panamanian and if they were trying to celebrate Carlos Lee they needed to swap them out for a nice sombrero pintao. As you might imagine my helpful commentary was met with a silence one might describe as stony.

Yeah, I’m torn on this.
Good 3B are hard to find. Bregman will likely want an inordinate amount of years/dollars. Is Dezenzo really your 3B of the near future? I have no idea who’d be available via FA/trade to be a replacement.

I have a suspicion, completely unfounded but I’m not going to let that stop me, that Bregman is a favorite of Crane’s and that Crane will go beyond what he might ordinarily be willing to do to keep Bregman around.
I looked at the FA market for third basemen a while ago and it’s not really anything to write home about, at least that’s how I remember it.
Chapman, but he’ll be looking for a deal similar to Bregman.
