I wasn’t prepared for how pumped I was at seeing Heyward in an Astro uni. Big time hit as well.
Fuck the hpu on the Bregman ejection. Fuck any ump that thinks this game is about them.
Simply put. As an ump, you’re an adjudicator, not a participant.

Great win. This isn’t hindsight, I was in the shower when Caratini pinch hit and I thought THIS is the necessary and correct move. And then it worked. And in the end it all worked, but I wouldn’t have made those pinch hitting decisions an inning earlier.

I watched the Wed game very late after a long work day, and after reading the game zone comments. Kalas deserves more than OWA ire. No matter what you believe about Karma/No Karma, his was careless chatter that bordered upon “Hey I’m calling a no-hitter”.
That’s the way I heard it at least. I wonder what Blum was thinking.
