8/29/24 KC @ Houston

I know it’s early for the game thread and I won’t be providing pbp as I can’t keep still during games and it’s the only time things get cleaned at my house…

But… I felt the need for a frito chili pie today so I had two. Wasn’t sure where else to put this important information.

A frighteningly rational lineup, except for Yordan at #2. But I’ll take it, considering most of the alternatives that might have shown up.

It would be a reasonably formidable lineup if Tucker was back. As it stands, you can almost hear the Royals SP thinking “just have to get past Diaz” each time through.

Tucker, plus Caratini at 1b, and now you’re cooking.

Not any more

I’m just glad to see that they are NOT resting Yordan

Wonder if Royals fans say the same with Witt hitting second.

HH kicked TK in the nuts so hard we get Eschenfelder tonight

Leadoff single, but then Brown retires the next three. No score.

Brown works around a leadoff single.

Mid 1, 0-0

The road to broadcast hell is paved with good intentions.

Kalas owes me a no-hitter. Clown.

I’ve been listening to the Spanish language broadcast. The downside is that the radio broadcast is never synced with the TV broadcast, and my Spanish gets about every 5th word. The Upside is that as far as I know they are the greatest broadcasters ever.

Listening to the Spanish broadcast is like watching the craps table in a casino. I understand about 10% of it, but they are having more fun then everyone else combined.

June 22nd.

Yordan with a 1-out single.

Bregman bounces out 5-3, Yordan to 2B
