Taking fastballs and swinging at shit out of the zone, zero interest in making their pitchers throw strikes.
Really love the way they scored a shitload on Monday and called it a series.

And Julks proves my points. Takes a fastball and a breaking ball in the zone and eventually chases a pitch a foot above the zone to punch out.
Last night against Bassitt was especially frustrating. I believe through 7 innings he threw 73 pitches.
Bregman takes a center cut fastball for strike 1. Spiked fastball, 1-1. Drives one to center on a curve but Varsho runs it down easily. 1 out.
Romano looks like he has B.O.
Tucker with 1 out and nobody on, Pulls a breaking ball to right, Springer runs it down, 2 outs.
Abreu fouls off a curve 6 inches inside, 0-1. Swings through 97 just about center square. Imagine that, Abreu with an 0-2 count. Swings at a pitch a foot above the fucking zone, absolutely pathetic effort.
This team is so, so fucking frustrating to watch.
