2025 Deadpool

Uecker was a uniquely unique individual and as I got older, I truly appreciated him dearly, much like the late Bill Walton.

When I lived in SoCal, KCRW used to have a brief segment each day where David Lynch would read the weather forecast and what he was doing from his house while also giving some insight about life.
I loved it.

Rough day.

Or when he stumbled across a furries convention at his hotel in Pittsburgh back in 2007:

That was freaking great.

We will only ever be able to guess WTF Lynch’s Return of the Jedi would’ve been. And we will always be wrong.

Two of my very favorites as well. Mulholland Drive is also fascinating–not as rewatchable but there is a nice homage to TZ legend Noe in Austin. Elephant Man is a true classic as well.

There was a superb MLB documentary about Uecker a couple of years ago. Might have to go re-watch it.

Along with some Mr. Belvedere episodes.

That was outstanding!

Godspeed, David Lynch. Rest in Peace.

I remember Dune (the movie) in '84 or '85. I was 8 years old. And then, Twin Peaks, s1 and s2. David was brilliant.

She was a legend, and also one of those people whose real name and porn name are the same.

Sounds like the name of an Austin Powers character.

Plowright was nominated for an Oscar once, in 1993 for the film Enchanted April. She lost to Marisa Tomei in My Cousin Vinny.

Cecile Richards, 67. I met her when she lived upstairs from my friends Dan and Gwen in Clarksville in the 70s. She was wearing purple all-stars. Great woman.
