He’ll snatch the life right outta ya like he’s John W. Creasy.
Steve McMichael, 67
Bam-bam.
Mongo.
Horseman.
Our father took us home to Austin in the Spring of ‘80 to visit family, and MikeS/my unloved younger sibling and I played catch with Steve McMichael on the old playing field/Astroturf at Memorial Stadium while our Dad went jogging on the track.
I was 6, and still remember how large a human Steve McMichael was and how incredibly nice he was to us that day. I remember my Dad telling us McMichael was a Longhorn and played for the Bears and we were lucky to experience that
I remember him as a college and pro player, of course, but let’s not forget that he managed to get ejected from a Cubs game while singing Take Me Out to the Ball Game, and, yes, Angel Hernandez was involved.
Legend.
Virginia Giuffre committed suicide at the age of 41. She was victimized by Jeffrey Epstein and Prince Andrew. Andrew doesn’t have the decency to do the same.
R.I.P. Ms Giuffre, you deserved better.
Walt Jocketty, 74
