Wow, I had no clue Steve McQueen was so young. I think if you could dress like Cary Grant on the business days and Steve McQueen the rest of the time you would have accomplished a manly style, particularly if you never wore a cap in a restaurant.

Steve McQueen was quite the character. The story about him pranking James Garner by throwing beer cans in Garnerâs yard is hilarious. So many good films. One of my all-time favorite movies is Papillon. I also think it was Steve McQueenâs best role, even better than The Great Escape.

If you could dress like McQueen in the Thomas Crowne Affair youâd kill two birds with one stone. He makes some James Bonds look like a hobos.

Wasnât there some controversy that story may not have been autobiographical, more an amalgamation of stories from multiple prisoners in French Guyana?

Yeah, I think itâs pretty well accepted that Charrière was one of the all time great bullshitters. Still a good movie.
I was a fan of The Sand Pebbles. Candice Bergen was hot AF.
