He damn sure was. RIP, Sal.
Hard to believe he was 78 already.
I really donāt understand how all of these other people are getting so old.
I saw ASUās team play at Omaha with Bando at 3B, Monday in CF, and Reggie Jackson on the freshman team not yet eligible for the varsity.
Thank goodness we did not play them.
I remembered that it was in Temple, and I also remember that you said that he didnāt refer to the Byrds at all.
I think we discussed that Sweethearts of the Rodeo tour when it happened. Marty played Clarence Whiteās original b-bender, and just getting to see that guitar in action is worth the price of admission as far as Iām concerned. A friend of mine saw the show in Austin if Iām not mistaken. I couldnāt make it up for those shows at the time, but now that Iām radicated in the US and A, if they ever take a notion to do that again you can betcher ass that Iāll make at least one of the shows or my name aināt Nathan Arizona.
Duffy Dyer another future MLBer on that '65 Sun Devil championship squad.
They were scary good.
Amazing they all ended up initially in Oakland. As an aside, I loved to watch Catfish Hunter pitch.
Great pitch command.
Hakeem turned 60 today.
Houston Legend.
Former child/teenage actor Lance Kerwin, 62
āHe loved each and every one of you.ā
What a wonderful statement.
The mortality rate among child stars seems to be right up there close to that of rock stars and pro wrestlers.
Itās 100%.
He paid taxes too
Possibly. Kerwin got in trouble a few years ago for failing to provide complete information in applying for government assistance. Heās had his troubles.
On a long enough timeline, the survival rate for everyone drops to zero.
Thatās dead on.
