Yeah, the misses are relative to his “expected” zone, which already completely out of whack with the actual zone. So a “miss” is something really egregious.

Yeah, MLB allows umps to be with a “margin of error” (which is really big) and still get credit for a correct call, even though it was the wrong one. Technically, an umpire can call every single pitch incorrectly, and still score 100%. How fucked up is that?
