I want to like Siri, especially for his defensive contributions… but he reminds me so much of Carlos Gomez during his Astros’ tenure that I find it difficult to do so. I understand that this is probably an irrational take.

Well, for one thing, Siri actually catches the balls he gets to.
Then I’m irrational with you. I’m old school and I can’t stand the look at me and what I did generation. Sorry. Having said that, I don’t think Siri is as bad as Gomez was. If we trade for Contreras, get ready for more of that.
I don’t mind the look at me stuff, per se. It’s pimping routine fly balls and selling out on off speed stuff while missing the ball by 2 feet… The look at me stuff when failing to hit your weight is what gets me.
And yes, he can D it up with the best of them, no doubt.

Bregman and Yuli both seem to be rousing from their slumber. Unfortunately, Tucker seems to be going into hibernation.
My Tucker Alert Status has been raised from ‘wow he’s really in a funk’ to ‘is he trying to play through an injury?’
I don’t think lunging at first-pitch changeups signals an injury. I think he’s just not recognizing pitches right now. I have no idea what the cure is. More cowbell, maybe.
