2022 roster

You said this a week or so ago. Infinite loop?

Sorry.

Memory isn’t what it used to be.

If Click does not resign Graveman, I will think he lost his mind. I would be happy with Yimi and Raley too, but I do not know who else is out there.

  1. We made the WS without Greinke, for all intents and purposes. He’s nothing approaching a number one any more, and I don’t see a need for more 3-4 starters.

  2. The WS problem was not a lack of a number one, it was the total disappearance of the offense.

Four runs in four losses including two shutouts. Can’t pitch your way around that.

That’s true on the offense part. However, when you are quickly down 5-0 and 6-0 early like we were in games 1 and 6, it makes things a lot more difficult. I hope we can trust that McCullers can stay healthy and be the ace. He has still never pitched more than 162 innings in a season since 2015.

Excellent news. I’m not sure what to expect from JV but I hope he’s healthy. Could end up being a bargain.

I expect a tight reign on his IP.

Missed starts if there’s a much as a hangnail.

And I expect him to anchor the rotation despite all that.

When I saw the post that he was returning I assumed he accepted the QO. This is even better.
