Robert Morse died a few days ago. I only knew him from Mad Men and had no idea how huge “How to Succeed in Business Without Really Trying” was on Broadway, I’ve never seen the play or movie.
It’s a good play/movie. Young Michele Lee (in the movie) was hot. At least one memorable song.
Nice, apparently the movie’s streaming free on Tubi, whatever the hell that is.
Cynthia Plaster Caster.
Naomi Judd
Suicide. So sad.
Judd a suicide? She had Hepatitis C for years so I assumed it finally got her.
She had been dealing with depression for a number of years.
Ok, thanks. I did not know that, and the article I read did not hint at suicide.
Wow! She was to be inducted today into the Country Music HOF. Her daughters’ statement says they “lost her to the disease of mental illness.”
Any Country Music “hall of fame” that didn’t already include The Judds is pretty much a joke anyway. RIP Naomi.
Mickey Gilley has rode off into the sunset.
Mick Shrimpton
I feel compelled to ask: did he spontaneously combust?
Twin brother Rick Shrimpton also entered his eternal rest at the same time.
Bob Lanier. 73.
Fred Ward. 79
Although the book and movie did a disservice to the man he portrayed, he was fantastic as Gus Grissom in The Right Stuff.
Legendary performance in Tremors.
If we’re talking good bad movies, it’s Remo Williams for me
