Can anyone verify Maldy’s contract status?
I remember reports early in the season that he signed an extension for 2022 and possibly 2023 but Cots has him listed as a FA after this season.
Signed an extension in April for 5 mil in 22 and has a vesting option for 23 worth up to 5 mil

I think that Josh James has separated himself from some of the other bullpen arms on the Houston to Sugarland bus route.
I have the bullpen in 3 tiers:
Tier 1:
Pressly, Stanek, Graveman, Taylor, Raley, Javier, Y.Garcia
Apparently they are above being optioned and have cemented post season roster status
Tier 2:
Bielak, Maton, Solomon. S.Martinez, and James.
These players are less secure but at least still wear a Houston uniform or have recently. I include Maton because, while I don’t expect him to get optioned, I’m not sure if he will make the playoff roster.
Tier 3
Paredes, Abreu, Scrubb,
Do you remember these guys? Next year is another season.
From what I’ve seen all year Solomon is moving up
James is the complete and total wildcard.
