I thought Alvarez had already had COVID.
De Goti isnât even on the 40 man
I know this should be in the game thread, but it hadnât been started yet, so, enjoyâŚ

Yeah. What the fuck?
I saw the lineup before the IL moves and thought Dusty had lost his damn mind
That will occur soon.
Unfortunately, the timeline doesnât make it seem like itâs vaccine related. The Astros were vaccinated on March 29 by Houston Methodist. Three weeks would be next Monday, April 19.
Seems like they still need their second shots for âfully vaccinatedâ wonât be until May 4 (Pfizer) or May 11 (Moderna) at the earliest.
Neither was Ronnie Dawson.
God help us.
Oh boy! A brand new team to watch tonight~
Theyâve all been vaccinated.
Looking out my window, if they could figure out how to block the roof open they could get a rain-out.
Definitely tuning in for this one.
Maybe ERCOT can come through in the clutch.
When I first read this I thought there was a car wreck or something, then I saw it âmightâ be Covid, and I LOLâed.
No one else has the past few games
Ronnie Dawson facing MLB pitching could be very ugly.
This may be old news to some, butâŚin response to the question about why the game yesterday wasnât postponedâŚI saw something that said it was because none of they players involved tested positive. They are in the protocol for contract tracing purposes. It implied that had one or more player tested positive, MLB would entertain the idea of postponing games. Also, players in the contract tracing program must isolate for a minimum of 7 days, and if they do not test positive, they may come off the IL. If they test positive, they must isolate for a minimum of 10 days and produce two negative tests before coming off.
Also, teams can relax their protocol once 85% of players and coaches have been fully vaccinated for 10 days. Donât know if any teams meet that threshold, but obviously the Astros do not.
