This is giving me a headache. Anyone know a bar where I can watch the game?
You could go to like a Buffalo Wild Wings, Hooters or Pluckers. They all open at 11
I just figured out I have the MLB network in my ATT package. I’m good.
FYI to anyone else wondering how to watch the game today, this may help:
Today’s line-up has the reigning American League batting champion hitting seventh. The crazy thing is: it doesn’t look that crazy.
Altuve
Brantley
Bregman
Alvarez
Correa
Tucker
Gurriel
Meyers
Maldonado
I might swap him with Bregman, but that’s a reasonable, and formidable line-up.
7th is not a bad spot for a run producer. See Tucker, K.
Just work thru the top 8, then you get Maldonado out.
Unless he hits a homer.
He does have quite a few near misses this series.
You could really move around Gurriel, Correa and Tucker. I happen to like that order best, but as you say, they are all three run producers who should have plenty of opportunities in this line up, no matter how you stack them.
7 runs per game. This lineup is doing its job.
Absolutely. Last night’s loss was not because they didn’t score enough runs.
Roster should have been finalized at 10, but nothing yet
If Odorizzi gets a playoff start, what an opportunity for him.
Finally. McCullers, Stubbs off Taylor Odorizzi on
McCullers on taxi squad
Garcia
Garcia
Graveman
Greinke
Javier
Maton
Odorizzi
Pressly
Raley
Stanek
Taylor
Urquidy
Valdez
Castro
Maldonado
Altuve
Bregman
Correa
Diaz
Gurriel
Alvarez
Brantley
McCormick
Meyers
Siri
Tucker
Hopefully Valdez and Garcia pitch out of their skin and Dusty doesn’t fuck up the bullpen too much
5-6 innings from starters with 0-3 runs allowed is what can be reasonably asked.
We won’t always get that of course.
Sharp defense and relentless good ABs.
We need good Framber to show up and Garcia to rediscover the form that made him a rookie of the year candidate.
Hopefully, Urquidy pounds the zone like he normally does in game 3, and Odorizzi in game 4.
I’d imagine it will line up this way with off days between games 2 and 3 and 5 and 6:
Framber
Garcia
Urquidy
Odorizzi
Framber
Garcia with all hands on deck if the Astros are down 3-2 in the series
Urquidy with all hands on deck
