The Dodgers have Julio Urias on normal rest (20-3, 2.96 ERA) and they are still doing this. I get why the Rays do it, but the Dodgers have no excuse.
I hope it blows up in their face.

I hope so too. But they already have two scoreless innings from their pen.
The bullpen part of the plan worked. Let’s see how Urias handles things beginning next inning. Shane McClanahan did not handle it well in game 4 vs. Boston.
Urias did work out of the pen last postseason, but it’s his first time being the bulk pitcher this year.
Another cool, dry night. Gonna take a pretty good poke to get one out.

Two bad calls that at bat. Struck out on strike one after a 5-0 count.
Should have been 2 on no outs.
Hell, the pitching coach came out for a visit after the “strikeout”.
Eddings strikes again.
He’s really fucking them over.
And Webb should have been taking until 2 strikes.
I hate to say it, but watching pitchers hit now just seems weird.

Urias mowing them down. He’ll go to the 6th inning having thrown 36 pitches.
