I am a big Giants fan in this series, and not merely because I hate the Dodgers. My best friend of nearly 40 years, deceased since December 2015, was a NY then SF Giants fan his entire life. Baseball was a major part of our relationship, and with him, I made my annual spring training trip. We began our baseball odysseys via train in 1998 and continued them until his death. Rest easy, Danny Boy. Your Giants are having a special season.
