He was fantastic on The Wire but I also thought he was great as Chalky White on Boardwalk Empire.

Not sure where it’s streaming now, but Hap and Leonard - set in East Texas and based on the crime novels of Joe Lansdale - was a pretty damn fun show.

He had that whole routine about mocking how people say someone is “battling cancer” while, he was silently battling cancer. It was a great bit then but now with the added context, it might be one of the greatest stand-up comedy bits ever. I think it was on the Hitler’s Dog Netflix special.
