Well, it was a helluva year, folks. One for the books.
Thanks to all for hanging in there with us through all the shit.
Spring Training will start in about 4 months.

Astros went further than reasonably expected given all the injuries. Nothing to be ashamed of.
Time to root for the Rays in the WS and pay George whatever he wants.
And so begins, the void.
Seriously though, don’t let that be Springers last game as an Astro
They made it a series. After Tuesday I was worried they lost heart. They ran into Charlie-again- and didn’t have a good game plan this time either.
I’ll talk to this much, I hope they win the World Series. Because i like neither the Braves or the Dodgers.
Indeed.
Hope they win.
Don’t know how much I can watch.
I’m not talking shit. Im saying it was a good pitch to hit, expecting him to be a hero is asking too much.
Thanks for the ride, y’all. Hell of a weird season. Time for Click to get to work, and I hope that when the team gets back to the hotel, they find a loaded Brinks truck with George Springer’s name on it.
Crane needs do what it takes to keep Springer, Correa and Brantley. This team will always have a chance if you keep that group together.
Got to love CFM and what the Rays have done. If you had told me any day since February that the Astros would be one game from the World Series I would have considered that a successful year. Lots ahead in the Void.
No Verlander, Osuna, or Alvarez, new manager and gm changed, snakebit hitters, rookie relievers, invective heaped on team all year long. One out from WS
Year of the Woodpeckers.
And good try Arky.
Desperate times …
Yep, we gave it our best shot. I don’t care for the Braves, but I hope they knock the Dodgers out of the playoffs tomorrow night.
Rays had too much pitching, but the Astros gave them hell and I’m proud of them.
God help us all.
Frustrating season that turned into a whole lot of fun at the end.
Already looking forward to next year.
The fact this pitching staff made it to game 7 of the ALCS and did so by making us confident in them (or a God chunk of them) .
They raised our expectations.
Kudos to them and to Strom.
How this series would have been different if the Astros don’t gift the Rays two big innings with uncharacteristic shoddy defense in games 2 and 3.
They have a lot of likable players, and any team that makes the Yankees all butthurt can’t be all bad. Easy to root for them.
