Stanton smokes one (116 MPH) but right at Dubon for the L6
Donaldson flies to RF
Torres with, as HH would say, a shiftfuck squibbler through the right side
Trevino with a simple 6-3
Mid 4, Astros 2-0
Garcia 78 pitches, looks like a “five and dive” night
I always think of Gregg Easterbrook and his old Tuesday Morning Quarterback column. It was a lot of fun to read before it was revealed he hates jews or whatever it was, but one of the things I remember best was his constant mockery of the overuse of the blitz.
So lately whenever an Astros opponent hits a lazy grounder directly to an infielder except said infielder is nowhere to be found, preferring to defend some other part of the field, I find myself shouting, IT’S A SHIFT!
I’m also looking at a basket of peaches, I’ve done rum and lots of other fruits but I don’t think I’ve done it with peaches. An electric milkshake may be in my future.
I like it. It’s a typical Jamaican rum…strong, funky. It’s good in cocktails that require that strong flavor, especially if you mix it with lime juice or something acidic. Not one of my sipping rums, but makes one half of a great mai tai.
It would probably go well in a milkshake, and with peaches. It’s made from molasses and has that vanilla and banana…y flavor that would likely pair well.
