Whew…DP on a not so hard hit ball.

Now get on the fucking airplane

I can’t wait to read the comments in the New York Post.

ETA: Sorry, I meant to post this in the Inevitable You-Know-Who thread.

Also, thinking before posting is always important.

Yes, this was a good call.

Guessing it’s Verlander and Odorizzi tomorrow and Saturday with Framber Sunday and Urquidy on Monday in Oakland. Reason being, the Mariners have hit Urquidy very hard this season, and I doubt they want him to face them in back-to-back starts.

All the “letters to the NY Post” I need to read are penned by Chuck D

Five straight changeups to Carpenter.

The Astros made a big statement to the Yankees in these seven games.

Framber already in Seattle I guess to avoid extra cross country flights

In seven games, the Yankees did not throw a single pitch with the lead.

Yep, and typical.

Sooooo, maybe don’t do that.

No way Bielak should have pitched the 9th. Ruined his great outing; at least, to him it did.

“7-5 now. Awesome job.” HH

I was reading the Game Two GZ when I woke up in Belgium. When I read that stupid fucking post, I cringed. Judge’s home run was inevitable. I wish the GZ had a NO TAUNTING rule.

I’m obviously pleased that the Astros took the season series.

But my takeaway from these games is that this is the toughest NYY lineup in this era.

They won 2 games in walk off fashion, tied another in the 9th, and got the tying run to the plate after entering the 9th down 5 in the last one.

Yep, cockiness is not warranted at all. We can point to reasons why they came back, but the point is, they came back.

A bit surprised they have Urquidy lined up to face the Mariners in his next two starts but I suppose they feel he’s a different pitcher after scrapping the cutter.
