Yankee Tears

Just finishing Nuke’s line.

You mean Gravy Train?

I enjoy Pedro Martinez’ commentary. He’s good.

Douchebag fans? Maybe THAT’S why Gerrit Cole wants to be “Yankee for Life”.

THIS is the Chateau Lafite of tears.

Bury him in the N-Y.

Consequences of ones actions. We all must bear them.

He fits right in

Surprise! Some of them have good sense. The “fans” are assholes, and booing Judge should be the last straw for anyone who can get out.

Imagine the boos Judge would have gotten if they had managed to work out an extension before this season. They may not be able to afford anyone else significant if they end up signing him, but I wonder if anyone else will sign if he chooses not to go back.

Someone will want the money and play there. The Yankees are going to have to pay and may not get quality, but that is their problem not ours.

I’m going to worry about my team right now and in the future.

I bet the contrast with the Astros fanbase was striking for them. Altuve struggled even more than Judge but is absolutely supported and loved by the city. Perhaps a moment of clarity…

Players’ feelings are hurt from the fan response? This isn’t tee ball. Tickets are expensive

Domaine Romanee-Conti, please.

Chateau Lafite Rotchschild is so early 2000’s.

I figured that would summon you

Yankee fans are abusive; that was not a ticket price protest. They think they are entitled to win.

You buy a ticket to watch the baseball game with no gaurantee of winning or losing. You don’t buy one with a promise of refund if your team loses. You just get to watch a baseball game. Nothing more nothing less.

I agree, there is an entitlement which is incorporated into the expense of that franchise. Their broadcast package exceeds the gdp of many small countries.

All of this makes their defeat gratifying on multiple levels
