It’s not a slur. It’s the phrase Dana Brown and Joe Espada used repeatedly to justify playing Jose Abreu before he was demoted.
I was being sarcastic, but I’m tired of Joe Espada not making necessary adjustments. Pressly had an ERA over 5 before today’s game. He should not be pitching in a tie game in the eighth inning.
