Cocktail. 1.5 oz of light rum, 3/4 oz of blanc vermouth, 1/4 oz of orange curaƧao, one bar spoon of grenadine. Stirred over ice, served in a chilled glass with an orange twist.
Itās basically a Cuban version of a Manhattan.
On your recommendation, Iāll try one. Never shaken?
I wouldnāt shake it. But Iām not a hillbilly.

Shaking a cocktail may be better than handling snakes. Iāll think about it.
Like any spirit forward cocktail, you want to chill it, not aerate it. Save the shaking for margaritas and mai tais.
