Waiting for Abreu to hit one out. I am SO glad he is an Astro.

Good win. Sounds like the Astros played more like we are used to seeing the last six seasons.

The Astros have had an early April “problem” for a few years now. They have been 2 games above or below .500 in mid april basically every season other than 18

Makes sense—I’m blacked out of that market.

Every team has worn the swoosh for a couple years now.

Just to expand on this because I find it interesting. Records at which point the Astros started to “take off” and be the team we remember from that season.

2015 4-6 wom 14 of next 15
2016 8-18 turnaround started but we all know it was not enough
2017 4-4 won 8 of next 9
2018 started 6-1 and never really looked back
2019 2-5 won next 10
2020
2021 started 4-0 but was 7-10, won 8/10 but didn’t really take off til june
2022 7-9 won 15 of next 17

I always forget how bad 2016 started. After that 8-18 start they went 76-60 which is a 90/91 win pace
