So the Astros did nothing today, eh? I wonder if teams dealt with Click in good faith or if he received little response as a way to “get even” with the big, bad Astros.
With the acquisition of Chirinos, every MLB player with the first name Robinson in the 21st century has played on the Mets (Cancel and Cano being the others)

Supposedly there were talks for Lynn.
Haven’t seen what was dangled.
Maybe it is really good news about JV, whether this season or next, that they didn’t need to be buyers.
I don’t know though.
With Urquidy and Peacock returning (?) maybe they decided to just take their chances.
Still a ton of questions but if the price was too steep I’m glad they stood pat.
Of course we’ll never know how serious they were or weren’t.
Peacock’s not coming back. His velocity is way down.
I’m not sure he’ll ever throw again. Hope I’m wrong.
If no one told me anything about it, I’d be not sure too.
