He has sniffed time at 2nd and 1st both in the minors and in the majors. So he might have more flexibility and again an upgrade over Singleton’s bat.
Angels get Aaron Hicks for the minimum. Would not have been the worst fit for Houston.

Yanks claimed Matt Gage, recently DFA’d by the Astros to make room for Hader.
Hicks is waste of a 40-man spot, at least until he gets hurt and moves to the 60-day IL. This move is prototypical Anaheim.

Corbin Burnes is on the move, traded from Milwaukee to Baltimore. The AL gets a little more competitive.

Love what the Royals have done this winter. Coming off a 106-loss season (their 7th straight under .500) and without much help in sight from the farm, they’ve brought in a couple solid vets to strengthen the rotation and just locked up their superstar youngster to make him the face of the franchise for a long time.
Losing sucks and they’ve gotten sick of it. Good on the org for investing instead of staying in a perpetual “rebuild.”
