The Void: 2022-23 Offseason

I did see the K numbers and thats not ideal

But apparently he has been playing through a nagging injury and I’m not sure what exactly that is or how/if its contributing to that.

Also, apparently Ronel Blanco becomes Pedro Martinez in winter league so I take those results with a grain of salt at best.

As for Dirden, I have hopes but he projects more as a corner OF at MLB level, like Tucker. I hope he’s like Tucker !!

He thinks Elton John was signing about “Leon”

Someone asked “my friend” today how he gets his information.

This was his response:

In all seriousness I can’t say who they are. I learned that lesson a long time ago

You should fire him over Vazquez. That one broke some hearts.

Must have been a baaaaaad one.

I accused you of being a closet Aggie.

Dude, I’ll hunt you down.

That is probably his ceiling at this point. Too many Ks!

Much more likely (IMO) than Leon, though still a long shot.

Don’t recall what details were specified and which inferred or assumed

Apparently The Astros and Vazquez’s agent were in agreement or very close to an agreement and it was moving fast

Vazquez was trying everything he could to find a deal with a team that would let him start and he was actively trying to avoid the Astros but they had the most interest and the best offer.

At the last minute the agent reached back out to other teams who had shown interest and the Twins agreed to match the Astros offer.

Poop on the twins.

and on Vazquez.

I don’t blame Vazquez for wanting to be a starter. He was a solid contributor to the Astros World Series win, and I wish he would stick around, but I understand. No hard feelings.

My “friend” responded to me about Grandel

No I haven’t.

I know that the White Sox were shopping him really intently earlier and trying to get someone to basically take his contract off their hands.

The fact I haven’t heard anything recently means that the Sox either found no one willing to take him or their interest in trading him was with the intent to sign someone else.

Didn’t Beowulf rip his or her arms off?

I think that was Grundle.

Keep subbing vowels; you’ll get it right eventually. Great reference, though!

Oh, me either. I wish he would have been happy with the playing time we offered, but I do understand his wanting to be the acknowledged #1.

Meanwhile, someone else passed his physical.
