Can’t remember if we talked about this when we were solving the world’s problems last week, but the series was vanilla- wasn’t awful, wasn’t great, just meh. I think I was expecting more, some of the acting was lacking and of course, I am biased in comparing the series to the original movie from when we were kids which is timeless as we all know.
A for effort by Nat Geo, though. Sort of bummed Disney didn’t sign on for a 2nd season.
Fuckin’ eh, Bubba.
I hate that plot development. Just cringeworthy.
Of the non-moon story the past few weeks, I did really like the scene with Aleida and the guy that peed his pants.
FAM: Holy Shit!
I’m through the first three episodes of season 1. I gather that there are going to be some twists and turns.
Drop your linen and stop your grinnin’…
Enjoy the ride.
Are we doing FATWS in this thread?
Because “Truth” was DAMN good.
10 rings? So that’s, like, 30 films?
I thought it started a little slow, especially after the Wanda Vision home run. I think I may be missing one episode, but I’m warming to it.
The most recent episode was good, and overall I think it’s been solid after a slow start.
Comparing it to Wandavision is pretty unfair though, as they got to start with a clean slate essentially without expectations.
Plus the start really was exceptional. Comparing WandaVision to any tv series is pretty unfair.
Hey it’s Jung Kim from Kim’s Convenience
Except Agents of SHIELD, from where they stole the entire plot.
Just finished the most recent season (the last one on Netflix, anyway). Really enjoyed it.
FAM season finale is Fuh. King. In. Tense!
Spoiler
I wasn’t prepared to have the shit spooked out of me by the air raid siren scenes. The hair on the back of my neck was standing up for the rest of the episode.
Gonna miss Gordo and Tracy, but I’m glad the writers didn’t just deus-ex-machina them into surviving walking on the moon protected only by duct tape.
I’ve lost this whole discussion. What is FAM? Modern Family? Is that still on the air?
For All Mankind, sci-fi show on Apple TV+.
Spoiler
I’m going to miss Tracy’s space nips, but…yes…I had already thought before the episode started that Gordo was going to sacrifice himself - I didn’t think it would be them both. Very sad.
Apropos nothing:
I thought Naomi already taught us that.
