That season of FAM got incredibly stupid incredibly quickly right at the end
I haven’t seen the finale of FAM yet but my theory is the series finale reveal will be that the whole thing has been a prequel to The Expanse.
Echo (Disney+) is decent, but clearly got fucked by the writers’ strike. The first couple of episodes have amazing big set pieces, and the last two are shorter and mostly conversation.
Echo vs DareDevil was a great fight.
Meanwhile, I clicked on to Ms Marvel ahead of “The Marvels” hitting the streams, and what a fun show.
It felt like just a teaser to put things into place for the next phase in the “street level” world of Marvel. Which is totally fine.
I have not seen the finale but in the penultimate show, I spent 120 seconds looking offscreen by 5’ knowing exactly what was about to happen. I literally squinted my eyes as he was prepping his burger so I did not see the inevitable splat. It was just about the most telegraphed scene in the history of TV but was the exact right thing. Funny.
I knew it was going to be either that or the burger was going to be poisoned.
Monarch season one ended with a

Ellied Jeels is, ironically, an aristocrat who operates in privileged circles on Coruscant.
Pepherds Shie is a high-ranking Imperial officer.
MikkaTasala is a Wookie ally.
Somehow Dotted Spick doesn’t work as well as one might have hoped.
I typed it, went “oh”, and deleted it.
Or, you cold just go full Phantom Menace, and make him a junk-trading slave owner.
Just don’t suggest “shrimp n grits”.
It makes what you can get from them.
The Marvels is hitting Disney+ on Feb 7.
I really enjoyed the Ms Marvel series and did stick around for the post-credits scene, so I’m looking forward to this.
Has anyone seen Rebel Moon yet? Is it worth the two hours?
