As far as being a troll, I haven’t got in any heated baseball related arguments with anyone here and I have been around this forum since the mid-late 90’s.
Wow, Obiden may have dethroned George W Bush as the dumbest president ever. He has destroyed the border, destroyed the economy and the value of a dollar with inflation, dismantled the nation’s energy supply, destroyed the nation’s finances by running up the debt by multiple trillions of dollars of debt, divide rather than unite the nation, let many prisoners run free, his continuing to hand out free money for people to stay home during the pandemic, and basically turned the United States leadership and reputation into a joke. Obiden clearly is not all there with his dementia. His cognitive ability is getting worse every day. He’s struggling to even walk in a straight line. It’s actually quite sad to see a man deteriorate both mentally and physically as quick as Obiden has. The country needs 2024 to get here quick so President Trump can turn things back around.

I do check in on the BBC and Al Jazeera as well, and listen to NPR on days that I drive to work.
For news on Ukraine, I find the Institute for the Study of War updates useful. Also check in time to time with the Atlantic Council.
The Atlantic for ideas.

The Financial Times was my daily newspaper for years and the Economist was my periodical. Now, I still check out the FT, but not as much.

That was a fantastic read and made my skin crawl, probably because it poignantly echoes what I’ve come in contact with often in my 25 yr aviation career/3 airlines in 19 yrs- the dog whistles of misogyny, bigotry, sexism, racism, victimhood, the laughable snowflake mentality of so many folks, their self-centeredness and the lack of self awareness. It dilutes, maddens and saddens what is for the most part a fun and fulfilling career.

Twitter is rapidly disassembling at the moment. My “Following” feed has dried up dramatically - presumably as those I follow have jumped ship to Threads - so now it consists mostly of hilariously off-target ads, that “free stuff from Amazon is real” post (which I presume is everywhere) and tweets from right-wing sources that should not be in my “Following” feed to start with.
Going to the “For You” feed is, I imagine, what going to a Trump rally (or piloting a SWA 737) feels like.

He’s a horrible person. He ended his brief tenure as Texas Tech’s Head Football Coach by exiting the restaurant during a recruitment dinner through a window, leaving the 17 tear old recruit at the table.

What is Obiden’s rationale to run? I can answer that. Democrats need a puppet to prop up while Obama, Clinton’s and other crooked Democrats use him to steal money.
