The Inevitable What About The Inevitable You-Know-Who Thread Thread

Uh huh, what year were you born?

65was in early 70’s. I was only unplanned child. Younger brother was planned. Dad grew up with no siblings. Younger brother was to have a sibling close to my age. All part of growing up.

OK I still don’t know, but I’m quite sure that no teacher in a school said “no more than 2 kids”

They did it was 70’s. I was little and so proud to share what teacher told me. Shows I was paying attention in class. Mom when not a mom, teacher also.

On another note way before I came along. Oldest brother had garage door open. Butt naked. Mom came out. Gordon what are you doing. His reply was,“it’s ok mom, I have my boots on like you told me”. Boys will be boys at times.

I am wondering if you understood what the teacher said in the same way that your brother understood what your mom told him.

I am certain that no 1st or 2nd grade curriculum includes the number of children one should have. And even if your teacher was going rogue, it’s hard to believe that he/she would think that population control or demographics would be a comprehensible topic for kids that age.

Was paying attention. Why so proud. Early environmentalism I guess. The topic was about future, not past.

And i bet you’re religious too, but way more concerned about drag queens than priests molesting kids.

“Everything Biden has done seems to be swept under the rug…”

Jesus titty-fucking Christ, that’s some Grade A, USDA Certified, chicken-fried horse-shit.

Both are repulsive IMHO. Scouts also. When you have something for good for kids. Do your best to do right by them.

I was a scout and was great. But that was my experience.

The 70’s kicked off the environmental decade with the signing of the Environmental Policy Act on 1/1/70 by Nixon. Followed soon after by the Marine Mammals Act and the Endangered Species Act (also signed by Nixon). This was in an era when conservative politicians thought it important to conserve the environment as well. (Incidentally, this was also an era where careful stewardship of God’s creation resonated with most Christians.)

In that environmentally conscious context, there was also a school of thought led by an entomologist at Stanford named Paul Ehrlich (The Population Bomb, 1968), that advocated for population control. His pessimistic view of population growth failed to take into account the possibility of technologic and societal changes that can (and has) allowed more people to share this planet while at the same time decreasing population growth rates. (He has also been criticized for being selectively concerned about brown population growth and failing to account for consumption - so a critique of this book would be a good lesson in critical thinking.)

I can believe that discussions on such current events happening in late elemenatry school or, more likely middle or high school; but even if you were in some particularly gifted and talented class, these sorts of topics would be too advanced for a first or second grade. Obviously, you were there and I was not, and your memory is yours.

Ah, another one fell for the liberal media bullshit.

This is what the crooked media does to any negativity concerning Obiden:

Pretty funny real obituary:

Oh hell

Guys, Biden is going to save everything for us. He’s building a railroad all the way across the United States and all the way across the Indian Ocean.

Look, nobody thinks Biden is the sharpest tool in the shack. Give us something better than a craven criminal as an alternative.

Biden is a craven criminal. However, I can agree that we need better alternatives on both sides.
