Playing during the game tonight:
This is really driving at the heart of Trump’s base: non-college educated white men. The message being “why the fuck are you supporting this fucking guy?”
Because they exist in a media vacuum where trans kids and Honduran mothers are going to take their jobs, their weapons and their 15 foot tall trucks. And they’ll probably drink woke beer afterwards to celebrate, bunch of freaks.
In order to have any insight at all into the pigfucker world you really need to listen to their radio. I am not advocating that you do so, just telling you that you cannot possibly begin to understand their world view only by watching the batshit clips of Fox News or whatever that people post on threads. They exist in a universe that is far, far more warped than you likely can imagine. These people are brutally ignorant and constantly lied to in the most insane ways in order to fill them with a boiling hatred, and the result is fatally dangerous, as we have seen and I fear will see again shortly.

I have seen a comment on this along the lines of “if an uneducated, non-English speaking immigrant can come in and immediately take your job, how fucking bad of an employee are you?”

I’m not sure I disagree with dismissing their importance. Young people don’t read the WaPo, LA Times, or any other newspaper. They bitch and complain and then don’t vote because the candidate that most represents them only matches 85% of their ideals.
