Iām curious: if Trump is convicted, will you admit that your skepticism might have been misplaced? Or will you simply claim (as Fox and OAN no doubt will) that that is simply further evidence that the judiciary is corrupt?

This is why Iām ok with Trump fleeing to Russia. MAGA Folk will logic-pretzel their way somehow to deny the legitimacy of any conviction, so letās save the time, expense and violence of his trials, and be as done with him as we will ever be.
I canāt imagine most Trump supports, or hard core Republicans being convinced by mere convictions.
Its just like āfake newsā they will be convinced the evidence was fabricated and its a railroadinā driven by Democrats as a personal vendetta.
There is a not-insignificant number of people who will consider him a martyr.
Unfortunately my cousin is one of them.
It will go from one court and eventually supreme. Traditionally pass back to lower court. Why are we going through this. From my perspective old on both ends. Not in talking guys running.
Trump supporters basically come in three flavors:

the grifters. This includes Trump himself. There is simply money to be made from the next category

the idiots. This is the vast majority. They just arenāt smart enough to look around the room and realize they are the sucker, and

those who know better, but are pot committed to the cause, and are too embarrassed to admit they fell for the con.

If Trump planned or did sell classified documents like Biden and put our country at risk, I will be on board with him being locked up. I cannot speak my mind here about the election indictments as that is not allowed. And I believe that the woman in the phony New York case was not Trumpās type and I believe he did not know her. So, to answer your question, if the ruling is fair and consistent with past similar cases, Iāll be on board with him being locked up. If it is phony and is glaringly phony, which it likely will be considering how hard the Democrat party has tried to āget Trumpā, I will not be.
