Should the boy have been there? No. Problem solved. Should he have had a gun. No. But would he be dead? I would think probably. Is he a hero? Not at all. Was he targeted by the media? Absolutely. He in my opinion is not these other dumb arses that go out and shoot to target people like in buffalo or Florida. That is pure racism. Not every case is the same. Nor does it fit one particular individuals political leanings. We have courts for a reason. Far from perfect, but it is what we have. There are good and bad people from both political persuasion. No matter your color, an arse is a arse and a good guy is a good guy. Most things in life fall into a shade of gray. It is not either black or white.
I also don’t think the media is helping the situation in the slightest. They had a funeral for a man a few years ago who had a funeral march in the 5th ward. Marched with MLK and community was honoring him. I don’t think MLK was saying go out and destroy. He was asking us as individuals to be and do better to make the world better for all of us. If you are stuck in the past, you are lost. As a babe we know nothing. Unless you look in a mirror, a pool of water or someone tells you… wouldn’t know if you look different. Does it make a difference? Not at all. Treat people regardless as people, because that is who they are. They are a collection of life experiences. Those experiences can make us better or worse people. It is what we take and learn from it.

Didn’t someone once say, if we don’t learn from the past, we are doomed to repeat it. Democrats and MSM cry racism and climate change for everything. It feels their base and fuels nut jobs on the right who are unhinged. That in my opinion is for votes. Not what is right, wrong or true. Easy to point fingers, harder to put in the effort to make a difference. That should be our focus. Make the world better for all of us. It is easier to be an arm chair quarterback, than to actually get on the field and play.
Black kids are the most likely to drown. Is that because they are black? No. Because they are stupid? No. It is because they were never taught to swim. This summer helped teach my friends grandkids on some weekends to swim this summer. Do they swim great? No. Are they better? Yes. It is a start.
Should teaching be focused on a kid being a boy, girl, panda bear or firetruck? No. Focus on giving them the skills to hopefully make wise decisions in life.
Pandas used to not be bears, they were raccoons. But now bears, not dogs. My dog eats June bugs never cared myself. Or ants. I like Adam Ant though. King of the Wild Frontier, I always say. You gotta believe.

Hmmm… Pandas used to be considered raccoons? Never knew that. Kind of like the old Steve Martin skit. Looks like poop. Smells like poop. Tastes like poop. Better walk around it. Sorry for rant this AM. Time on my hand. As I often tell anyone when helping them. We are all in the same boat. Hopefully we are rowing together, otherwise we are going in a circle and will never go anywhere.

Pandas look, walk, smell, eat, and poop like raccoons, not bears. Which is why they were classified in the same family as raccoons until the 1990s, when DNA revealed they were genetically bears. This has nothing to do with bananas though.
