Limey just posted a batshit crazy lie about voter suppression in Texas. He posted batshit crazy conspiracy theories about Russian interference in the 2016 election as well. Nothing was done about it. I’m literally the only non liberal here so I understand I’m in the minority.
Oh by the way, I did not post anything new about the 2020 election like your previous posts would lead someone to believe. Limey is the only one promoting election lies right now. However, they do lean liberal. I’m sure that makes a difference.

The GOP knows that once it loses control of elections in Texas, it is finished as a national party. There is no path to winning the Electoral College is Texas turns blue. They will lose two senators that they’ll never get back. Once the governorship and other statewide positions go to Democrats, they can start to unwind the extreme gerrymandering here, and that will flip a dozen or so House seats to Democrats.
Texas is the GOP’s last stand. They won’t let it go lightly or, it seems, legally.

Judge Cannon kicked the stolen documents case back to late May 2024. Says the discovery is so voluminous that there’s no way the defense can be ready before that.
Given that Trump’s trial dance card is getting quite full, this is not wholly unreasonable. However, it’s hard to shake the suspicion that she is helping the defense here, given her past rulings in this case. Which is why she should have recused.
Having said that, now that she has given them 10 months to prepare, she ought to hold that date and not let them kick it any further down the line.
Meanwhile, in Georgia, Fani Willis is preparing racketeering charges for Trump and his cohorts.
It’s possible that this case will go to trial this year, given that Judge Cannon has just opened up a huge window between now and March.
The Democrat Party has one plan right now and that’s to throw as much legal crap that they can at President Trump and hope something sticks to where he cannot run for President or is thrown is jail so they can pull a Jeffrey Epstein with him. They know they can’t beat him fairly so this is their last desperate option.
Apparently Willis’ racketeering prosecution will involve Trump plus 12 others. Twelve! And because she’s charging under RICO, she can tag all of them for everything.
