Texans 2026

Texans sign Jadeveon Clowney.

DL Mario Edwards too, also a former Texan.

I really like Clowney’s inside/outside positional versatility with the other DL we have.

Preseason Football game tonight.

Anxious to get a peek at Rutledge.

I know it’s the second team, but three running plays and can’t pick up a yard. Ooof.

The Tennessee fuckwits are playing the 49ers tonight. They look like a bunch of worthless cunts in their “homage” uniforms to the Oilers.

Well… I mean, they’re run by a worthless cunt.

Good grief Mertz is awful. And not too bright.

There is a special circle of Hell reserved for that family.

Sadly for him, looks like he ripped up his knee. Not sure if it’s the same ACL he tore in college or not.

Very good read if you want to take your mind off the Astros.

Using the Texans to take your mind off the Astros?

Man, this is a real low point.

Well, they’ve performed better than the Stros for the past 2 years, and will again this year.

I hope Stroud doesn’t make us wish he could just perform to Christian Walker’s level.

…aaaaaand Jaden Higgins tore his ACL yesterday

Texans semi-first team offense looked pretty good last night, as did their second team defense. After that they were complete garbage. I guess that’s to be expected as these games are about finding depth. I guess it’s not too concerning, but geez, 2nd and 1 to win the game and you run the ball twice to end up 4th and 3, only to give up a quick 90-yard drive to lose is disheartening.

At least the preseason game tickets are cheaper that the regular season games.

This is the point where people are going to start thinking that it’s time to send Captain Willard up the river to off my crazy ass, but I am seriously considering attending a couple of Nexans away games this year as several are within easy striking distance, and am VERY seriously eyeing that Packers Monday night game in January. The weather should be nice and brisk come January.

It’s likely to be a crisp evening in Green Bay in January. While I loved attending a game there in the snow, I’m reluctant to do so again. I’ve seen snow now. It’s cold and wet. Though breakfast at The Pancake Place is alluring, I’ll give you that.

Well, as you know I’ve been to a Lambeau game before. It was December of 2008, and at the time it was a top five coldest NFL game ever. It was -9 when we left the hotel. I thought I was dressed appropriately, and I was for the most part, but my act is a lot more polished now for obvious reasons. Anyway, if I do attend this game I’ll surely do so alone. I wouldn’t mind dragging Daniel to a game in a dome in Indianapolis or something, but no one in their right mind would want to stand around in sub zero temperatures for three or four hours.
