FWIW that made perfect sense to me. LA had to burn all their timeouts and would’ve been left needing two TDs with 2-point conversions.
Running for the TD was just lagniappe.

While the O line is still bottom quarter of the league, the recent shifted lineup has taken them from the worst, IMO. And that’s meaningful with their defense.
