I think both the TEs can block half ass as a puller but never as an inline blocker, especially on an edge. That’s a complete mismatch

Stover has potential. Schultz can’t block anybody. Losing Brevin Jordan hurt.
Agree on all that, though Stover’s potential lies more as a receiving TE, IMO, like Chuck’s slot description. He might eventually be good at that.
I’m still not sure why the abandoned their fullback use from last year. They cut Beck, iirc, and it’d sure be nice to have a fullback who can be used on counters, etc and maybe just line up in the backfield and help save our franchise on occasion.

Did they explain on the broadcast how the Colts got one last play after time clearly expired on the spike? All we got in the stadium was “the game is not over. By rule, there is one second on the clock”. By what fucking rule? The rule that teams get to keep trying even when the clock expires?
On the replay, it was just barely conceivable that Indy clocked the ball just before it flipped from 0:01 to 0:00. Barely. I have no idea what the “by rule” tidbit refers to.

Yeah, it was total bullshit; don’t know why they didn’t review it. The Colts snapped it with one second and as the ball was going to the ground, the clock hit zero.
Given how the Bears lost today, that shit matters.
Just caught up on the post-game stuff. Richardson checked himself out of the game on 3rd and goal because he was tired. Yep, not hurt, just “needed a break” he said. I don’t think I’ve ever seen that before.
